Zap Protocol 2.1 Development Update

Price Feeds — We recently launched twelve new price feeds from foreign currencies from Forex APIs. Price feeds added: Surinamese Dollar (SRD), Bermudian Dollar (BMD), Australian Dollar (AUD), Pound Sterling (GBP), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Danish Krone (DKK), Euro (EUR), and Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), Japanese Yen (JPY), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), Norwegian Krone (NOK), South African Rand (ZAR).

These price feeds are implemented with the goal to power financial tools and instruments on the blockchain associated with these currencies. Kraken API was added for additional price reference.

Miners — The team added additional miners to the testnet to stress test Zap. The Zap Miner events table UI component was worked on and fixed. Steady progress and bug fixes are being made on the miner as we approach mainnet launch.

NFT Marketplace

The Zap NFT marketplace is gearing up toward an official launch, all aspects of the NFT marketplace are being finalized up for staging and testing before public testnet release. Various UI components have been worked on including the asset page. Users can now swipe between the full page view of an NFT and its corresponding details on mobile. Creating NFT collections is now possible and will be displayed on your individual profile page and on the home page. The collection display will have details such as the collections profile photo, cover photo, title, and description. Auctions will have a timer available to show the remaining time left to bid. The option to create and edit your profile page for the NFT marketplace is now available.
